Thank you for stopping by for a visit! We are a small, home based kennel based in Jamesville, NY which is right outside of Syracuse in beautiful upstate New York. We owe our beginnings to Carol Strong of Bihar Kennels in Cazenovia, NY. Carol generously shared her dogs, her knowledge, and her friendship. She was one of the first people to import the Lowchen into the USA back in the early 1980's. Carol was a true "dog" person with an incredible eye for structure and type. She was very successful in the conformation ring with her dogs, breeding Best in Show, multiple Best in Specialty Show, and many champions in both the US and Canada. Carol brought together myself, Gillian Robertson of Tapestry Kennels, and Peggy Cropsey of Windsor Lowchens. Though Carol is no longer with us we all owe our foundations to her and will continue to work closely together to further the Bihar line. Carol blessed us with the honor of the contined use of the Bihar name and the three of us will continue to breed quality dogs of sound type and, most of all, of sound temperament. We strive with each litter to better the breed. Our dogs are our beloved pets first, and show dogs second to that. They live at home with us and are treasured members of our family. We breed only when we need our next show generation. Finding the perfect "forever home" for each of our puppies is our primary goal. We spend a lot of time getting to know you and letting you get to know us in order to allow us to make the best possible match between you and your Lowchen. Your relationship with us doesn't end when you pick up your puppy. We require at least a yearly check in to make sure everything is going well and we love to hear from you more frequently. Pictures, stories, and updates are much enjoyed! Additionally, we are always there for any questions that may arise at any time.
